## Description

SoyBase is a collaborative, community resource that integrates genetic, genomic, and trait information to support soybean research and breeding. Funded by the USDA Agricultural Research Service, it is developed and hosted by the USDA-ARS SoyBase and Legume Clade Database group in Ames, Iowa, with assistance from the National Center for Genome Resources and researchers across the soybean community. The platform brings together data and tools for exploring soybean genes, genetic variation, traits, germplasm, and related research projects, with resources covering other legume species as well.

Researchers and breeders can search genes and traits, investigate gene functions and expression, analyze sequence data, and explore genetic maps, genome browsers, GWAS and QTL results, and germplasm information. Available services include BLAST sequence searching, GO enrichment analysis, genotype comparisons, parentage and pedigree resources, and tools for viewing genomic context and genetic maps. SoyBase also provides access to curated data collections and projects, including cultivar and accession sequencing, SNP arrays, reference genomes, pangenomes, and studies of stress tolerance and seed traits.
