Space Team Aachen is a student association for Rocketry and Space Science based in Aachen, Germany. Since its establishment in August 2019, the organization has experienced continuous growth, showcasing Aachen's capability in "rocket science." The team engages in various projects and participates in international competitions to expand their knowledge in the field. With over 140 members, Space Team Aachen leads the way for aerospace research in Aachen and collaborates with university and industry partners. Their offerings include developing custom hybrid and liquid rocket engines, as well as research projects. One of their notable projects is Aquila, a single-stage rocket powered by a solid-propellant engine, aiming to reach a 9 km apogee at the Spaceport America Cup (SAC) in New Mexico in June 2023. Additionally, they work on the AQUIS nanosatellite project and the HOPPER reusable rocket development. Space Team Aachen continues to seek enthusiastic individuals to join their team.
