# Spaltenstein - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `spaltenstein.ch` ## Description Spaltenstein.ch is a family-history and genealogy website devoted to preserving and sharing the story of the Spaltenstein family in Switzerland. Created by Bea and Robert Spaltenstein-Schmid, the site brings together family research, historical records, inherited accounts and information about the family’s branches. Visitors can explore family trees, including research extending back to 1307, and learn about the earliest known documentary references to the Spaltenstein name. The website also presents the family coat of arms, created in 1953 by Dr. Hans Kläui after no earlier inherited design could be found. Its imagery connects the surname with a stone split by a lightning bolt, accompanied by two stars. Historical documents, photographs, correspondence and genealogical materials help place the family’s story in context and make its past accessible to current and future generations. The site notes that the family is associated with Flaach in Switzerland and shares discoveries from archives, including two documents from 1307. It serves as an informative resource for relatives and anyone interested in the Spaltenstein family’s history. ## Industries - 🎸 Hobbies and Leisure - 🎸 Ancestry and Genealogy _(under Hobbies and Leisure)_ ## Logos & icons - logo _(primary)_ — PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/id0QpwkLjg/w/60/h/64/theme/dark/logo.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1793191506713) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Science Blue | #006dcc | accent | | Black | #000000 | dark | | Seagull | #87ceeb | light | ## Fonts - open_sans — asset _(custom)_ - open_sans — asset _(custom)_ --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
