## Description

Spanyolnátha is a Hungarian arts and literary journal that brings together contemporary writing, visual art, cultural history, and community life. Its issues feature poetry, prose, essays, interviews, photography, and artwork by a broad network of writers and artists. The journal also produces anthologies and documents exhibitions and cultural events, including through extensive photo albums and online features.

A central part of its work is Légyott, a long-running series of artistic gatherings that connects literature, fine art, local heritage, and personal exchange. The 26th edition, titled Tompa plus Pávai, was organized with the Vidám Páva cultural center in Hernádkak, the Herman Ottó Museum, the Hungarian Mail Art Society, and the Vidám Pávai Art Heritage Collection in Berekfürdő. Presented during Museums’ Night at Miskolc’s Theatre Museum, the program included an exhibition, an anthology, opening remarks, and works inspired by poet Mihály Tompa, local history, and thermal waters. Spanyolnátha serves readers and audiences interested in contemporary Hungarian culture, while creating platforms for artists, institutions, and communities to share their work.
