SPARC - Réseau SPARC Network is a dynamic and inclusive brand that aims to ignite and sustain vibrant performing arts communities in rural and remote areas of Ontario and beyond. Committed to fostering effective communication, SPARC is a network that is owned, developed, and controlled by the individuals, groups, and organizations who drive the performing arts scene in these regions. At SPARC, they cater to a diverse range of professionals and enthusiasts, including creators such as musicians, actors, dancers, directors, and more. Additionally, they serve presenters, producers, and animators who play essential roles in the administrative and programming aspects of the performing arts. To connect and engage with their community, SPARC provides valuable resources through their blog, social media platforms, and a members-only Facebook group. They also organize community gatherings, where local initiatives and collaborations are celebrated, and new opportunities for creators and presenters are explored. Every two years, SPARC hosts symposiums, bringing together professionals in the performing arts for networking, problem-solving, and strategizing. These symposiums are creative weekends that foster connections and facilitate growth in the sector. To get involved in SPARC's mission, anyone interested can become a member and join the constellation model, a network that connects local constellations across Ontario. By subscribing to their newsletter, individuals and organizations can stay updated on the latest news and opportunities. SPARC is funded by a dedicated team and operates out of Haliburton, Ontario.
