## Description

Spark is a Bitcoin Layer 2 and payments infrastructure platform that helps businesses add Bitcoin, Lightning, and stablecoins to their products. Its network enables Bitcoin and Bitcoin-native assets to move instantly at near-zero cost, without bridges or wrapped assets, while remaining connected to Bitcoin. Transfers within Spark are fee-free; Bitcoin network fees apply to deposits and withdrawals.

Spark offers tools for building wallets, accepting instant Bitcoin deposits, buying and selling Bitcoin through on- and off-ramps, and issuing digital assets. Its Issuer SDK supports creating, minting, burning, freezing, and managing tokens, including stablecoins, using the BTKN asset standard. The Wallet SDK is available for TypeScript and React Native, while the Issuer SDK supports TypeScript. A Rust SDK is also available through Breez, with bindings for several programming languages and platforms.

Spark is open source and natively interoperable with Lightning, without requiring users to operate nodes or manage channels. The platform is designed to help developers and businesses build payment experiences and applications on Bitcoin.
