The flagship kit of Sparkle Labs is called Discover Electronics, which was inspired by the founders' involvement with Make Magazine. Recognizing a need for educational tools for aspiring makers, the founders assembled the kits with the help of friends and family. As the demand grew, they partnered with a professional manufacturer and transformed Sparkle Labs into a real business.

With a mission to provide knowledge and promote creativity, Sparkle Labs has grown in size and scope. They are passionate about using eco-friendly materials for packaging and products, as well as implementing efficient manufacturing processes. The team behind Sparkle Labs consists of Amy Parness and Ariel Churi.

Amy, an experience designer since 1999, focuses on finding the most environmentally friendly materials and has an extensive background in technology and design. Ariel, born to an Argentinian mother and Indian father, is an inventor, artist, and teacher. With expertise in 3D design and illustration, he takes care of Sparkle Labs' branding and design processes.
