Our mission is to promote, protect, and preserve natural resources and open spaces in the Spartanburg community. We achieve this through strategic acquisitions, land donations, and conservation easements, preserving over 5,000 acres of land in our region. Our system of public preserves, including the renowned Cottonwood Trail, provides access to green spaces and the natural world for both people and wildlife. We work closely with private landowners and partner agencies to ensure the conservation of valuable land through voluntary conservation easements. Our protected properties encompass diverse features such as watershed protection, wetlands, historically significant land, farms, forests, and habitats for rare and threatened species. We are proud to be accredited by the Land Trust Alliance's National Accreditation Program, representing our commitment to land conservation. By conserving land, we strive to maintain the character and beauty of Spartanburg while allowing for sustainable growth and community enjoyment. Experience the natural wonders of Spartanburg by supporting SPACE's efforts today. ## Industries - 🏭 Waste Water and Environmental _(under Heavy Industry and Engineering)_ - 🏭 Heavy Industry and Engineering ## Links - [facebook](https://facebook.com/spartanburgconservation) - [instagram](https://instagram.com/spartanburgspace) - [linkedin](https://linkedin.com/company/spartanburg-area-conservancy) ## Logos & icons - icon _(primary)_ — JPEG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idoQT5dki-/w/364/h/365/theme/dark/icon.jpeg?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1731824492335) - logo _(primary)_ — PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idoQT5dki-/w/264/h/81/theme/dark/logo.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1731824492227) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Yellow Sea | #ffae00 | accent | | Fun Green | #016843 | dark | | White | #fefefe | light | ## Fonts - Cabin — asset _(google)_ --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
