## Description

The Portuguese Society of Laboratory Animal Sciences (SPCAL) is a private, non-profit association bringing together people whose work is connected with laboratory animal sciences. Based in Coimbra, Portugal, it aims to standardise and optimise the use of laboratory animals while promoting animal health and welfare.
