## Description

Special Olympics New York is the leading organization for competitive athletes with intellectual disabilities and their communities, providing inclusive opportunities for people with intellectual disabilities to discover and unleash the champion within. Our athletes experience the joy of competing in authentic sports, overcoming defeat, tasting victory, and staying active for life. We offer a wide range of sports and training clubs, along with seasonal competitions and sports events. Additionally, we promote inclusivity through Unified Sports, which brings students with and without intellectual disabilities together as teammates. Our vibrant community emphasizes the development of leadership skills and healthy living, benefitting athletes long after any game. If you're interested, you can find activities near you in any of our nine regions. Join us in supporting our athletes through donations, volunteer work, or corporate partnerships, and help pave the path to victory for these incredible individuals.
