## Description

Species Connect is an innovative platform dedicated to enhancing our understanding of interspecies interactions and ecological networks. By providing a free database and social network, it allows users worldwide to document and share observations of interactions among various species. These interactions are vital for comprehending ecological balance, contributing to areas such as environmental science, conservation, agriculture, and disease tracking.

The platform features a user-friendly interface where individuals can browse existing cases, upload their own observations, and explore interactions based on species or interaction type. Users can enrich their contributions with supporting evidence like photos, videos, and articles, fostering a collaborative science environment. The taxonomy is grounded in the 2019 phylogeny from the Catalogue of Life, ensuring accurate and comprehensive data.

Join Species Connect to discover the interconnectedness of life and contribute valuable insights to a global research community, all while promoting the importance of biodiversity and conservation efforts.
