## Description

SPECTER is a post-quantum stealth address protocol designed to make payments on Ethereum and Sui more private. It lets users send funds to human-readable ENS or SuiNS names without publicly revealing the recipient’s identity. Rather than directing funds to a publicly associated address, SPECTER routes them to a fresh, unlinkable stealth address.

The protocol guides users through five steps: generate post-quantum keys, register a meta-address with an ENS or SuiNS name, send a payment, receive funds at a stealth address, and scan and claim those funds. Its design combines lattice-based cryptography, including ML-KEM-768, with view-tag filtering to help users scan for payments efficiently. SPECTER reports 99.6% scanning efficiency and a 1.5-second scan time across 80,000 announcements.

The project provides setup, sending, scanning, and exploration tools, along with documentation, a developer SDK, a playground, a quick-start tour, and opportunities to share feedback or speak with the team. Its stated focus is accessible, quantum-resistant privacy for name-based payments.
