SPECTRA TECH SASU is an independent engineering consultancy founded by Dr Daniel Marcos, a materials and aerospace process specialist based in Bordeaux and available to work across France. With a PhD from Mines ParisTech, an engineering degree from INSA Strasbourg and 12 years of experience in research, development and industrialisation, Dr Marcos supports aerospace, automotive and medtech companies with technical expertise, research and development, audits and quality services. His background includes six years in NADCAP and PART 145 environments.

The consultancy’s services span three areas: mechanical design and multiphysics simulation; development, industrialisation and qualification of advanced processes; and quality consulting and audit preparation. Expertise includes metal additive manufacturing, including SLM/LPBF and DED, aerospace coatings and heat treatments, nickel-based superalloys, and process qualification. SPECTRA TECH also provides CAD design, structural and thermal analysis, feasibility studies, technical training and support for transferring research into production. Engagements range from short diagnostic assignments to longer-term project and certification support.
