## Description

Spicy’s Fishing is an Oregon-based guided fishing and outdoor excursion business led by Captain Stephen “Spicy” Gettel, a native Oregonian with more than 50 years of fishing experience. A U.S. Coast Guard-licensed captain with First Aid, CPR and AED certification, he guides trips across the Columbia River system, Portland, Tillamook Bay, Garibaldi and Astoria, including Buoy 10. Fishing trips target Chinook and Coho salmon, sturgeon, bottom-dwelling fish, nearshore halibut and Dungeness crab when permitted. The company also offers winter catch-and-release sturgeon fishing and customized boat-in camping and outdoor adventures, with options such as cooking, photography, whale watching and treasure hunting. Trips are suited to families, couples and smaller groups, and the boat accommodates up to six people. Fishing tackle and equipment are provided. Spicy’s emphasizes enjoyable, educational days on the water, community involvement and support for local fisheries; U.S. veterans fish free. Customers can also purchase gift cards for future bookings.
