## Description

Spiir is a personal finance brand that developed a free app to help people understand and manage their money. The service brings connected bank accounts together in one place, then automatically analyses and categorises transactions to provide a clear overview of finances. Users can explore monthly spending, review insights and top spending categories, and build awareness of their habits. Spiir also offers customizable savings challenges designed to make it more engaging to cut back on expenses such as groceries or shopping.

Spiir says it does not sell users’ data and describes itself as a licensed Account Information Service Provider supervised by the Danish Financial Services Authority. It uses Mastercard Open Banking Services to connect accounts, with encrypted connections and no access to users’ bank login details. Spiir also offers its underlying technology to companies through Mastercard OB Services.

The Spiir service is scheduled to shut down on June 8, 2026. Until then, users can access it and export their information through the app or web version.
