## Description

SpinSheet Magazine is a Chesapeake-based sailing magazine that provides comprehensive news and information about racing, cruising, and daysailing on the Chesapeake Bay. With a focus on the Chesapeake Bay sailing community, SpinSheet goes deep rather than wide in its coverage, highlighting the people, places, boats, personalities, and events that make the Chesapeake one of the world's premier sailing grounds. With a reputation built over 24 years of delivering high-quality editorial and targeted advertising, SpinSheet is a trusted source of information for the mid-Atlantic sailing community. Each issue is distributed at over 750 carefully selected locations throughout the mid-Atlantic region. SpinSheet welcomes editorial contributions, including stories, anecdotes, photographs, and technical expertise, with a particular emphasis on the Chesapeake Bay and its sailors. The magazine was founded in 1995 by Mary Iliff Ewenson and Dave Gendell and has since expanded to include other publications such as PropTalk Magazine, Start Sailing Now, and FishTalk. As the only sailing magazine in the Chesapeake, SpinSheet is a must-read for sailing enthusiasts in the region.
