## Description

SplitFire AI is a human-first suite of music apps from Splitfire AB, based in Stockholm, Sweden. Its SplitFire app separates songs into four audio stems—vocals, bass, drums, and other sounds—so musicians and music fans can isolate parts for listening, practice, or creative use. Users can select tracks in MP3, WAV, FLAC, or M4A formats, play and mute individual stems, and export the parts they need.

Audio separation runs locally on the user’s device with the HT-Demucs model, using the GPU and Metal on Apple devices. SplitFire says tracks are not uploaded, and the app requires no account or internet connection for separation. The product is available for macOS, Windows, Linux, iPhone, iPad, and Android, with downloads offered through the App Store and Microsoft Store, as well as other platforms.

For playing along, SplitFire also points users to KaroKowe Jam, a music player offering a catalog, backing tracks, practice tools, and recording. Together, the apps support song exploration, rehearsal, and performance.
