## Description

Sport Eckert is a specialist sports shop in Fichtelberg in the High Fichtel Mountains, serving cross-country skiing and Nordic walking enthusiasts. The business offers equipment at fair prices and provides personal advice from Edgar Eckert, a former multiple Bavarian and German cross-country skiing champion who also competed in World Championships and the Olympic Games.

Its range includes cross-country skis, boots, poles, bindings, clothing, gloves, hats and accessories, as well as Nordic walking equipment, ski rollers and a selection of ski waxes and paraffins. Products are available from brands including Fischer, Salomon, Rossignol, Leki, Swix, Craft and Odlo. Sport Eckert also rents cross-country skis, boots and poles, making it possible for customers to try the sport without buying all their equipment.

For summer training, the shop offers ski-roller lessons with instruction focused on safety and movement technique. Lessons can include ski-roller hire, and customers may also order a roller, with part of the lesson fee credited toward its purchase. Sport Eckert welcomes visitors to its shop at Flecklstraße 20 in Fichtelberg.
