## Description

Sporting Equals is a dynamic and inclusive brand dedicated to promoting ethnic diversity in sports and physical activity. As the only organization in the UK focused on this mission, Sporting Equals was initially established in 1998 by Sport England and the Commission for Racial Equality. Today, they operate independently and proudly serve as a national partner of Sport England. The brand has three primary aims: to raise awareness and understanding of the needs of ethnically diverse communities within the sports and health sector, empower individuals and communities to achieve their full potential through sports and physical activity, and advise and support policy-makers and delivery bodies to be inclusive of under-represented groups. By working towards these objectives, Sporting Equals aims to increase participation, identify and showcase talent, diversify the sport sector, improve health and lifestyles, and build cohesive communities. With a commitment to high standards of governance, the brand strives to create positive change and equality in the sporting world.
