## Description

Sporting Leiden is a Leiden-based football club founded in 2018 through the merger of Leiden and FC Rijnland, neighboring clubs that had shared Sportcomplex Morsch II for more than 25 years. The merger brought together complementary strengths in youth and Saturday football, alongside Sunday football. The club welcomes members regardless of background and aims to create a close-knit, inclusive community built around sporting spirit, enjoyment, and social connection.

Sporting Leiden offers both competitive and recreational football for men, boys, women, and girls. Its activities include senior and youth teams, as well as indoor football, and the club also supports other sports and leisure activities. Prospective players can get acquainted with the club or join a trial training session before deciding whether to become members. Sporting Leiden provides information and services for joining, leaving, and participating in the club, including a clothing plan, team details, schedules, and training information. The club also runs a business club and shares news, match reports, events, and updates for members and supporters.
