## Description

Sportschützen Atting e.V. is a community shooting club founded in 1974 and based in Atting. Since moving into its clubhouse at the local sports ground in 1996, the club has welcomed members and visitors for social shooting evenings every Friday. It combines sporting ambition with a strong sense of community, and invites newcomers to learn about membership and take part.

The club has achieved titles at both national and state level. Its air rifle teams are recognized as the strongest in the Straubing-Bogen shooting district, and the club competed in Lower Bavaria’s Bezirksoberliga from 1997 to 2009. Youth development is a particular strength: its young shooters and teams regularly achieve titles and have earned recognition beyond the local area.

The clubhouse features ten electronic Meyton shooting ranges, introduced in 2009, along with a projector and screen for showing competitions live in the communal room. The venue also includes a covered outdoor area, scoring room, bar and shared space. Sportschützen Atting offers a welcoming setting for shooting, competition and club life.
