## Description

SPring-8 SACLA is a large-scale research facility operated by the RIKEN SPring-8 Center in Hyogo, Japan. It provides scientists and industry with access to two powerful light sources for investigating materials at extremely small scales and observing rapid changes. SPring-8 uses synchrotron radiation to reveal the structures and properties of matter, while SACLA is an X-ray free-electron laser designed to capture ultrafast processes in atoms and molecules.
