## Description

Spolek přátel táborových her (SPTH) organizes traditional summer camps for children aged 6 to 15 at the Medlov campsite in the Czech Republic. With more than 20 years of experience, the organization combines classic camp traditions with a thoughtful, modern approach to children’s care. Campers stay in two-person tents with raised wooden beds and weather-resistant covers, rather than cabins. The woodland lakeside site includes a permanent kitchen, a communal tent, and brick-built washrooms with hot water and flushing toilets.

SPTH’s camps offer a varied programme built around outdoor adventure, friendship, cooperation, independence, and respect for nature. Activities include shared camp traditions such as raising the flag and gathering around the evening fire, alongside an overarching themed programme. Trained staff, including healthcare workers and cooks, care for participants; many leaders first attended the camp as children. Families can find practical information and register through the organization, which also provides camp updates, photos, contact details, and guidance for parents.
