## Description

São Paulo Yacht Club (SPYC) is a sailing and social club located at the beginning of the Guarapiranga Reservoir in São Paulo, Brazil. Founded in 1917, it brings together sailors and the wider sailing community for sport, recreation, and social events. The club offers sailing lessons and courses through its sailing school, including activities for children, and hosts regattas such as the annual Regata de Abertura, which welcomes the sailing season and brings together sailors, clubs, and marinas. Its website provides event calendars, race instructions and results, news, and photo galleries documenting competitions and club activities.

SPYC’s 12,000-square-meter property features tree-lined grounds, open lawns, and waterfront surroundings that offer members and their guests a green retreat within the city. The club also promotes membership, with individual and family options, and provides facilities for gatherings and social events. Its activities connect sport and community, while its members share an interest in sailing heritage, including the preservation and continued use of classic Brazilian boats.
