SQCC DC (Sultan Qaboos Cultural Center) is a cultural hub based in Washington, DC, with a mission to share the rich and diverse Omani culture with the American people. Established in 2005, SQCC aims to foster mutual respect and understanding between Oman and the United States, while educating a new generation of culturally sensitive and knowledgeable citizens in both societies. Through a range of programs, including outreach initiatives, scholarships, lectures, educational resources, and cultural partnerships, SQCC brings the culture, history, and heritage of the Sultanate of Oman to Americans near and far.

The center is named after the late His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said al Said, an advocate for the arts and cultural preservation. SQCC is funded by the Diwan of Royal Court, Sultanate of Oman, and is grateful for the continued support of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik.
