## Description

The Social Research and Demonstration Corporation (SRDC) is a Canadian non-profit research organization established in 1991 to develop, field-test, and rigorously evaluate programs. Its mission is to help policymakers and practitioners identify policies that improve the well-being of Canadians, with particular attention to disadvantaged people, while strengthening the evidence used to assess public policy. With more than 30 years of experience and over 550 completed projects, SRDC works with governments, communities, non-profits, foundations, and other organizations.

SRDC provides policy research, experimentation, program evaluation, strategic program reviews, data science, survey design and data management, performance measurement, and impact assessment. Its work spans adult and post-secondary learning, K–12 education, employment, career development, income security, health, housing and homelessness, immigration and settlement, community capacity, social finance, and youth development and inclusion. The organization uses methods including literature reviews, data analysis, surveys, and policy experiments to assess programs and inform practical solutions. Its multidisciplinary team brings expertise in fields such as economics, psychology, sociology, public policy, geography, and health policy.
