## Description

SRG SSR is Switzerland’s independent public-service media organisation, firmly rooted in society and committed to bringing Switzerland and the world to audiences. Its services span radio, television and online, providing information, culture, sport, entertainment and educational content. The organisation offers coverage of politics and crises, Swiss films and series, literature, music, sports programming and original entertainment productions. Through Play Suisse, it provides a platform for viewing Swiss content. SRG SSR also supports democracy, dialogue and social cohesion, while promoting diversity, solidarity and accessible media services. Its work includes partnerships in education, programme exchange, training, archive access and the provision of raw material to private media. The organisation highlights quality through editorial standards, quality assurance and external audits, and provides broadcast information and reception support. It also operates specialist services, including Studio Bundeshaus, a production facility in Bern for public and private broadcasters, and SWISS TXT. SRG SSR is funded in part through the radio and television licence fee and publishes information about its mandate, strategy, finances and public value.
