## Description

Skyggesiden Running Club is a social, inclusive running club based in central Oslo, Norway. It welcomes runners of different abilities and paces, with free participation and a relaxed, community-focused approach. The club meets every Wednesday at 6 p.m. outside Skyggesiden Bar to run a regular 5- or 7-kilometre route through the city, including the waterfront and areas around the City Hall, Akershus Fortress and Opera House. Runs take place throughout the year, including winter.

After each run, members and guests can gather at Skyggesiden Bar for an informal after-run, with drinks available at discounted prices. The bar’s associated food outlet, Skyggesiden Grill, serves street-food dishes such as burgers, sausages and meatballs, as well as vegetarian options. Seasonal activities have included summer interval sessions, grilling and swimming around Oslo’s islands.

The club also joins selected running events and supports charitable causes. Participation is generally free, while an optional annual membership costs NOK 499 and helps cover operating expenses. Members may also access partner discounts and milestone rewards.
