Sporting Shooters Association of Australia (Queensland) is dedicated to promoting the shooting sports and safeguarding the interests of firearm owners. Established in 1948, the association continues to fulfill its mission with unwavering commitment. With over 77,000 members in Queensland alone, SSAA Queensland provides access to more than 90 branches and affiliate clubs across the state, as well as seven shooting complexes managed by the association.

To support its members, SSAA Queensland offers public liability insurance through a Discretionary Mutual Fund, ensuring protection from the rising costs of insurance. The association is governed by a State Management Committee and led by an Executive Director, all working together to enhance the shooting experience for members.
