## Description

The Society for the Study of Amphibians and Reptiles (SSAR) is a not-for-profit organization founded in 1958 to advance research, conservation, and education concerning amphibians and reptiles. Recognized as the largest international herpetological society, SSAR supports a broad community of researchers, students, educators, and others interested in herpetology.

SSAR offers membership options and resources for people at different career stages, including students, seniors, families, and zoo keepers.
