## Description

SSD Consulting is a nonprofit-focused consultancy that supports first responders, communities, and organizations through behavioral health training and nonprofit and grants management services. Its work brings together suicide prevention, crisis response, postvention, peer support, and organizational development to help clients strengthen their capacity and community impact.

Services include grant writing and consultation, nonprofit formation and development, and grant-readiness strategies. SSD Consulting also offers program design, policy templates, resilience and wellness training, and coaching for peer leaders. Its training covers behavioral health and suicide prevention, crisis intervention, and postvention, including instruction for L.O.S.S. (Local Outreach to Suicide Survivors) Teams, which provide immediate peer support to people affected by a suicide death. Courses include certificate and scenario-based options.

The organization also shares guides, protocols, and practical resources on topics such as suicide risk among law enforcement officers, L.O.S.S. Teams, and grant writing. SSD Consulting describes its approach as crisis-ready, evidence-based, and focused on measurable impact, offering custom curricula, courses, and grant management support for agencies.
