## Description

Social Sciences & Humanities Open Cloud (SSHOC) is a collaborative initiative funded by the European Union's Horizon 2020 programme, bringing together 20 partner organizations and 27 associates dedicated to advancing the social sciences and humanities within the European Open Science Cloud (EOSC). This project integrates various European Research Infrastructures and the association of European research libraries (LIBER), focusing on the entire data life cycle, from creation to curation and reuse. Over a 40-month period from January 2019 to April 2022, SSHOC aims to revolutionize the fragmented landscape of social sciences and humanities data by creating a cohesive, cloud-based network of interconnected data infrastructures. By facilitating interdisciplinary research and collaboration, SSHOC provides essential tools and training for scholars to access, analyze, and compare data across diverse repositories. The project is committed to ensuring the sustainability of its services beyond its initial duration by continuously aligning with evolving EOSC requirements and supporting open science initiatives.
