## Description

Working across Long Island, New York City, Greece and beyond, the studio creates thoughtful homes, refined interiors and distinctive architectural spaces. Its practice brings architecture and interiors together as a continuous discipline, serving residential projects, renovations and transformations, as well as selective commercial work.

The studio’s projects respond to their specific settings, from New York’s dense residential neighborhoods to the open landscapes and light of the Aegean. Each begins with attention to what is already present, including landscape, memory, proportion and the ways people live. The work balances contemporary forms with vernacular influences, precision with materiality, and urban with coastal contexts.

Selected projects include residences and interior transformations in New York and Greece, such as Reframe House in Whitestone, The Float House in Porto Rafti and Plandome Residence in Manhasset. ss.mm design also shares its work and studio perspective through a journal and selected press and recognition.
