## Description

**Brand Description for SSR**

SSR, the Study Centre for the Judiciary in the Netherlands, has been a cornerstone of judicial education since 1960. Operating independently from the Ministry of Justice, SSR provides exceptional training for the judiciary and the Public Prosecution Service. The organization offers a comprehensive range of programs, including initial training for judges and public prosecutors, as well as lifelong educational opportunities for legal professionals. With a unique approach that leverages real cases and practical experience, SSR combines academic rigor with hands-on training, delivered by instructors who are active in the judicial system or academic institutions.

Located in Utrecht, with additional training sites in Amsterdam, Rotterdam, and Den Bosch, SSR is dedicated to enhancing legal unity in the Netherlands. Moreover, as a co-founder of the European Judicial Training Network (EJTN), SSR plays a vital role in promoting judicial training across the EU. Their commitment to continuous learning not only strengthens the legal community but fosters a just society. For inquiries and further details, SSR offers accessible support through their dedicated service desk.
