## Description

Schafwaschener Segelverein Chiemsee e.V. (SSVC) is a sailing club based in Rimsting, on the Chiemsee in Bavaria. Founded in 1991, the club brings together members who share an enthusiasm for water sports and a commitment to enjoying nature. Its setting in the Schafwaschener Bucht provides a base for sailing and other activities on the lake.

The club offers members shared events, access to club-owned boats, a private beach area and moorings for boats stored ashore. Its fleet includes a range of sailing boats, such as Lasers, a 420er, Korsar and Topcat models, as well as Optimists, kayaks and a motorboat. Members must receive an introduction from a board member or boat project leader and be able to handle a boat safely before using it independently.

SSVC also organizes gatherings and regattas, and provides members with information about boat launching, berths, parking access and club matters. Membership information and resources are available through its website, including a members’ login area.
