## Description

St1 Biokraft is a Nordic biogas company that turns organic waste into renewable energy and biofertiliser. Operating across the value chain, the company works with feedstock suppliers, develops and operates biogas plants, and produces, distributes and sells biogas and biomethane across the Nordic region. Its feedstocks include organic residues from agriculture and the food industry, such as manure and food waste.

St1 Biokraft supplies biogas and biomethane for transport, maritime and industrial applications, where these fuels can replace fossil alternatives. Its production also creates biofertiliser containing nutrients such as nitrogen and phosphorus, which can be used in agriculture. The company partners with farms and businesses that provide organic materials for its production.

By making use of resources that might otherwise be treated as waste, St1 Biokraft aims to increase the production and availability of biogas. Its website also shares information about its operations, facilities, projects and sustainability work, alongside company news, career opportunities and ways for organisations to become feedstock suppliers.
