## Description

Sportscasters Talent Agency of America (STAA) is a career development organization supporting people who want to build or advance careers in sports broadcasting. Helping sportscasters find opportunities, make connections, and strengthen their skills since 2006, STAA combines job-market resources with personal guidance and a professional community.

STAA membership provides access to sportscasting job leads, including openings that may not be widely advertised, and information to help members connect with employers. Members can use a directory of industry contacts, discussion groups, and a private community to share advice and build professional relationships. The organization also offers guides on improving job applications, contacting employers, and developing play-by-play, sports radio, and television presenting and reporting skills.

To help broadcasters refine their work, STAA provides monthly group critiques of submitted tapes and other educational resources. Its website also features member success stories, information about the Jim Nantz Award, and free career guides. Through these services, STAA aims to help sportscasters improve their craft, expand their networks, and pursue new roles across sports media.
