## Description

The Ontario Soil and Crop Improvement Association (OSCIA) is a province-wide, not-for-profit farm organization supporting Ontario’s agricultural community. Its vision is for farmers to actively seek, test, and adopt effective farm production and stewardship practices. Through local and regional Soil and Crop Improvement Associations, OSCIA connects members with fellow farmers and learning opportunities focused on the responsible economic management of soil, water, air, and crops.

OSCIA delivers cost-share programs that help Ontario farmers undertake projects supporting sustainability, environmental stewardship, and on-farm best management practices. Its offerings include initiatives addressing climate readiness, soil health, biodiversity, and farm production. The organization also facilitates workshops and webinars, including Environmental Farm Plan and biosecurity programming, and supports demonstrations and applied agricultural research.

Farmers and other visitors can access practical, research-based resources such as videos, factsheets, tools, and project summaries through OSCIA’s online resource hub. The association also hosts or partners on events across Ontario to share knowledge about new technologies, innovations, and management strategies.
