## Description

STAMMA is the leading UK charity and membership organization dedicated to supporting individuals who stammer, their families, and advocates. Established in 1978, STAMMA provides vital resources, information, and live support to raise awareness and foster understanding of stammering. Its comprehensive services include helplines, advocacy for discrimination issues, employment support, and specialized training for creating accessible environments.

STAMMA organizes various initiatives such as workshops, parent support groups, and community events to help those affected by stammering. The charity also offers tailored programs for children and teenagers, including therapy courses and social activities like the Minecraft Club. Through its efforts, STAMMA cultivates a supportive network where individuals can connect, share experiences, and find friendship.

By actively challenging societal attitudes and promoting a more inclusive dialogue around stammering, STAMMA works tirelessly to create spaces where stammering is accepted and understood. Become a part of their mission and help make a meaningful difference in the lives of those who stammer.
