## Description

Standout is an AI talent agency that helps professionals discover and pursue promising roles through direct introductions, rather than conventional job applications or recruiter outreach. Backed by Y Combinator, the company represents talent seeking opportunities, particularly with startups, and describes its service as selective and private.

Users connect their LinkedIn profile and speak with an AI agent about their experience, goals, and preferences. Standout then scouts public and off-market roles, shares a curated selection of matches, and helps arrange introductions and meetings with founders. Candidates choose which opportunities to pursue and remain invisible to companies unless they accept an introduction. The service highlights startup positions across the United States and Europe, including founding and senior roles in engineering, product, design, machine learning, and go-to-market teams.

Standout presents itself as a service for people who may not be actively job hunting but want access to significant career opportunities. Its platform supports the process from profile review and role discovery through introductions and interview booking, aiming to make relevant opportunities easier to reach while candidates continue their current work.
