## Description

Stand Up Surfers Inc (SUSinc) is a family-friendly stand-up surfing club based on Australia’s Gold Coast. Founded by surfers who share a love of the ocean and paddle-powered surf craft, the club aims to grow participation in stand-up surfing while helping members understand surf safety and etiquette. Its community brings together people with a range of abilities, from experienced competitors to beginners, and encourages members to learn from one another.

SUSinc offers weekly training sessions to help members build fitness and improve their surfing, alongside relaxed club competitions held every two months. The club also hosts social gatherings and events, providing opportunities to meet fellow surfers and enjoy time together in and around the water. Members can benefit from guidance from accomplished local surfers and experienced “salty dogs,” who share their knowledge and support newer participants.

Annual membership is available for adults and juniors under 16, and a one-day event pass is offered for visitors wishing to attend an event.
