## Description

STAR (Student Action for Refugees) is a national network of students dedicated to creating a welcoming society for refugees. They actively volunteer, campaign, and learn together to make a positive impact. STAR believes in the importance of providing factual information about refugees and asylum, and they offer resources to educate the public on refugee protection and the asylum journey in the UK. At STAR, they are proud of their team of dedicated staff and trustees who lead the charity. They are always looking for passionate individuals to join their team and contribute to their mission. With a focus on privacy and safeguarding, STAR values the importance of creating a safe and inclusive environment. They encourage individuals to get involved in their various initiatives and projects, such as the Equal Access Network and volunteering projects. If you're interested in taking action and making a difference, STAR provides opportunities to start or join a group, support families together, lift the ban, and advocate for access to university. They offer scholarships, pre-university courses, and guidance on how to apply. Support STAR's cause and be a part of their mission to create a better future for refugees.
