## Description

Starfish-one is a dedicated IOTA validator operated by long-term contributors to the IOTA protocol, who have played integral roles across multiple protocol generations. With a commitment to network security and decentralization, starfish-one distinguishes itself by charging 0% commission, significantly less than the industry average of around 7%. This unique approach not only benefits delegators by maximizing their potential rewards but also emphasizes stability, as the commission rate has remained consistent since launch.

The team consists of experts deeply involved in core development, consensus research, and operational monitoring, ensuring the validator's infrastructure is constantly monitored for health and performance. Additionally, starfish-one operates on a Delegated Proof-of-Stake system, allowing users to delegate their IOTA tokens without compromising wallet security. The recent introduction of the Starfish protocol has enhanced IOTA's consensus mechanism, improving throughput and addressing previous vulnerabilities, further solidifying starfish-one's role in the evolving IOTA ecosystem.
