## Description

Stars Scholarship Fund is a nonprofit scholarship organization serving students in South and West Texas. It supports academically talented, highly motivated students who plan to pursue full-time undergraduate, graduate, or doctoral degrees. Recipients come from a range of backgrounds and fields of study, reflecting the organization’s commitment to awarding scholarships across higher education.

The fund manages an annual scholarship program with online applications, published eligibility criteria, and guidance on required documents and submission steps. Application materials may include a FAFSA Submission Summary, official college transcript, AP score report, personal statement, advisor letter, and, where applicable, proof of permanent residency. Students can also submit application updates and recipient profiles, and access information about disbursements and graduation confirmation.

Beyond scholarships, Stars Scholarship Fund supports student wellbeing through mental health initiatives and partnerships with licensed clinical social workers at UTRGV and UTEP. It also works with school districts and universities and hosts community extravaganzas.
