# Start Beskid - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `startbeskid.pl` ## Description Start Beskid is a licensed ski school based in Szczyrk, in the Beskid mountains, offering ski and snowboard instruction for children, teenagers and adults. With more than 20 years of experience, its instructors and coaches help beginners gain confidence on snow and support experienced participants in improving technique and developing their sporting skills. Lessons are tailored to each participant’s age, ability and goals, with an emphasis on sound technique, safety and an encouraging, pressure-free atmosphere. Services include private and group lessons, children’s instruction from around age three and a half to four, multi-day training packages, technique development, sports training and competition organisation. The school also offers ski touring courses in the Beskids, instructor training and preparation for qualification courses, as well as special workshops and programmes for children, women and masters. Start Beskid says beginners can practise on dedicated training slopes, and its teaching is supported by current SITN A+B and D licences for specified areas of ski instruction.
