## Description

St. Croix Landmarks Society is an organization dedicated to cultivating appreciation of St. Croix’s history and cultural legacy through museums, research resources, education, and public programming. Based at Estate Whim in Frederiksted, the Society offers visitors opportunities to explore the Estate Whim Museum and Apothecary Hall Museum, as well as historic sites, green spaces, and the island’s heritage trail. Its research resources include historic photographs and illustrations, maps, genealogy materials, and academic research.

The Society also connects people with Crucian culture through interactive experiences and programs for youth and the wider public. Offerings include culture and history workshops, discovery camps, lectures, dialogues, house tours, concerts, and seasonal events such as Old-Time Crucian Christmas. Events are listed on its calendar, and the Society shares updates through its blog and mailing list. Visitors can browse the museum store, while supporters can contribute through membership, donations, volunteering, sponsorship, or by purchasing Landmarks Society license plates. Through preservation, research, and engaging programs, the Society helps make St. Croix’s history accessible to residents and visitors.
