## Description

The Albury-Wodonga Rugby Union Football Club, known as the Steamers, is a community rugby club based in the Twin Cities on the New South Wales and Victorian border. Founded in 1976, it has grown into a prominent club in the Southern Inland Rugby Union and welcomes people of all ages, backgrounds and experience levels. The Steamers describe themselves as inclusive and family-oriented, with a focus on participation and community.

The club offers rugby programs for men, women and juniors, providing opportunities for boys and girls to learn and play. It also welcomes the community to Foxtel Touch 7s Rugby. Members and newcomers can take part as players, coaches or referees, with registration available through the Rugby Xplorer app. Training sessions are held at Murrayfield, the club’s home ground in East Albury.

The club also supports overseas players seeking Australian rugby experience and can assist with suitable rural work in an approved location, along with other forms of support.
