## Description

Chehalis Centralia Railroad is a renowned brand that offers a unique and captivating experience to train enthusiasts and history buffs alike. With a rich heritage dating back to 1986, the Chehalis Centralia Railroad Association was founded by a group of dedicated locals to restore a 1916 logging locomotive. This association later evolved into the Chehalis-Centralia Railroad & Museum, which aims to preserve the region's railroad legacy. At the heart of the brand is their impressive Baldwin-built 2-8-2 Mikado type steam locomotive, affectionately known as the #15. This engine underwent extensive restoration and now serves as the main attraction for their seasonal excursion trains. Passengers can enjoy a breathtaking journey on the historic Milwaukee Road track in Lewis County, spanning approximately ten miles. In addition to the memorable train ride experience, the Chehalis Centralia Railroad is also the caretaker of other notable pieces of railroad equipment, including the Puget Sound Naval Shipyards No.6 & 9. The brand takes pride in offering both coach and dinner train service, ensuring a delightful and unforgettable experience for all. With safety precautions and health guidelines in place, both crew members and passengers can enjoy a secure and enjoyable journey. As the Chehalis Centralia Railroad looks to the future, they remain committed to ensuring the longevity of their historic equipment for generations to come.
