## Description

Stegehuis Dierfysiotherapie is the equine animal physiotherapy practice of Susan Stegehuis, based in Apeldoorn, the Netherlands. Alongside her work as a physiotherapist, Susan trained as an animal physiotherapist for horses and specialises in dry needling. Her practice focuses on the musculoskeletal system, with the aim of improving joint and muscle function to support better posture and movement.

Susan also brings extensive practical experience from the equestrian world. She has ridden and trained horses to Z-level in dressage, show jumping and eventing, giving her firsthand insight into the training and guidance horses need to develop their sporting performance. She is also an officially recognised competition judge.

The website provides information about physiotherapy and dry-needling services, as well as news and professional updates. These include continuing education in equine dissection and study of the cervicothoracic transition. Susan Stegehuis serves horse owners and riders seeking specialist support for their horses’ movement, function and training.
