## Description

Stelle nello Sport is a Liguria-based project that celebrates local sport, its athletes and the values it brings to communities. Through public voting, it invites people to recognize sportspeople and teams across several categories, including senior, junior and youth athletes, as well as sports clubs. Its awards and annual Galà delle Stelle bring attention to sporting achievements and provide a platform for athletes and other contributors to share their stories.

The project also organizes events and educational initiatives. These include the Festa dello Sport at Genoa’s Porto Antico, school programs and activities promoting inclusion and participation through sport, such as SportAbility. Its website offers news, videos, photo galleries, event information, voting details and archives of past awards and projects.

Charity is an important part of Stelle nello Sport’s work. Fundraising activities include the Asta Benefica delle Stelle, the Galà delle Stelle and charity events, with proceeds supporting organizations such as Gigi Ghirotti and AReo Onlus. Together, these activities connect sporting recognition with community engagement and charitable support across Liguria.
